By using the course accessibility report, you can work on improving your courses efficiently.
- At the top, we have the overall accessibility score for the course. This does not mean that, for example, 63% of the content in the course is accessible, but rather that the average accessibility of the elements is 63%.
- Just below, the contents and their types are on one side. By clicking the button, you will go to the other tab, Content, where each course element is listed with its individual score and the number of identified issues.
- On the other side, two metrics: issues that are easy to fix and elements with the lowest scores.
- At the very bottom, the course issues are listed, showing the severity, the issue, and the number of affected elements.
Elements with low scores can give a good boost to the overall score, and although they may not be as easy to fix, they usually have the biggest issues, so it’s important to address them soon.
Click Start, and then click one of the listed elements. You will see the Ally interface, with the content on the right and the suggestions and advice panel on the left, and you can begin working with that element.... You will be able to resolve each issue in the course from here without having to navigate away.
