A course is the space where all teaching activities take place. Navigating through the course and its options is simple and intuitive, as all courses have a very recognizable homogeneous structure with three clearly defined areas:
- Course Content. In the central part are the contents and resources we make available to students. This area is the only place where content can be added and where all information will be organized.
- Top Menu. Above the content is the menu that links to the most important resources, which we can access as instructors to edit: content, gradebook, calendar, discussions, messages, groups, and achievements. If we are instructors, we will also have access to statistics to see student progress. This menu also includes the option to switch to student preview.
- Details and Actions. This menu contains course tools that can help with daily management. We can access the participant list, the videoconferencing tool, the attendance tool, among others.
To make switching from one course to another as easy as possible, if you click the home icon, you will return to the Courses page in the main menu. If you click on Courses in the upper corner, a course switcher will open, allowing you to access your favorite courses and the most recently visited courses.
