Although they share a similar appearance, there are clear differences between the two environments. The most significant are as follows:
-
Library:
- It is the repository for master files.
- It is shared by all Intelliboard users at an institution, although the Administrator will decide which roles it will be available to.
- It contains the elements (tables, charts, and dashboards that combine the preceding elements) predesigned by Intelliboard. These elements cannot be modified.
- It is enhanced with the elements that each Administrator allows to be published so they are available to other users in their organization. “Regular” users cannot edit these elements either.
-
My Data:
- It is the collection of elements used by each user and can be customized by each user.
- If the Administrator grants the appropriate permissions, each user:
- Decides which dashboards, reports, and charts they want to transfer from the Library to My Data.
- Can Clone elements from My Data in order to freely modify those duplicates.
- Can create their own dashboards, tables, and charts.
