To customize a table, we need to open it from My Data, and click on Edit (or Settings > Edit Data). Several options will appear in the right sidebar menu; here we explain the most interesting ones:
Layout
We can access the columns to, for example, Add a modifier. Modifiers appear contextually based on the column's data. For example, for numeric data, it might offer the option to display the average, minimum, or maximum value.
Additionally, it allows us to Add columns (search for the table and select the column you want to add), modify columns (for example, to calculate the sum or average of their values), or delete a column by clicking the corresponding X.
Filters
Filters allow filtering data, for which it is necessary to select the table and column to be used. Depending on the column’s data type, contextual menus will appear to filter by different attributes (dates, values, role, nationality, etc.). Additionally, filters can be hidden or visible, mandatory, and so on.
Format
This lets us change the order of the columns (click and drag a column to the desired position) and format the table to our liking: colors, sizes, etc.
Also, by clicking on a column, you can customize its format through multiple parameters, including the possibility of applying CONDITIONAL FORMATTING. Furthermore, if the column data is numeric, it allows adding Aggregations: values extracted from the column, such as averages, sums, etc., which can be displayed at the top or bottom of the table, or as independent panels.
