The course completion options allow us to configure when a course will be considered completed.
Course Completion
- Completion requirements. This dropdown offers that the course is considered completed either when all or when any of the conditions have been met. It is the first decision to make. From here, we will start placing conditions.
- Completed activities. When expanded, all course activities with completion tracking enabled will appear, and we will select those that must be completed in order to mark the course as completed.
- Completed dependencies. This will allow us to choose other courses that must be marked as completed before the course we are in can be marked. This option does not limit access to the course itself, but the student will have to mark the others as completed before this one, although they can still perform activities in the current course. For the courses, we can also specify whether all or some must be completed.
- Date. If enabled, the course will be considered completed upon reaching a certain date.
- Enrollment time period. By enabling this, it will be possible to specify the number of days from enrollment until the course is considered complete.
- Unenrollment. The course will be considered completed at the moment the student unenrolls.
- Course grade. The course is considered completed when the grade reaches a certain value that we will specify.
- Manual self-completion. This will allow the student to mark the course as complete by themselves. To do this, the Self-completion block must be enabled.
- Manual completion by others. Allows other users, with the profiles we select from those presented, to mark the course as complete for a student. For this option, we will again see the possibility to choose whether all or some of the roles must mark the course as complete before it is considered finished.
Above there is a dropdown from which to access two other tabs with completion options: Default activity completion, where we can configure the default completion for all course activities by type and Bulk edit activity completion, allowing us to bulk edit all course activities with completion tracking enabled.
