A course is generally organized by sections, weeks, or topics, and this is the type of format we will focus on. What we will see with Sections also applies to topics or weeks.
Content is therefore organized into Sections, which are groups of related resources and activities, for example, because they belong to the same topic or chapter of the course.
This division is not necessarily fixed, as you could organize your course so that the sections correspond to types of content, for example, "Materials," "Activities and tests," and "Group work."
To add a new section to the course, first activate the Edit mode and open the table of contents by clicking on the icon on the left. At the bottom of this table of contents, click Create a new section.
A page will appear with two boxes: one to place the title of the section, which will appear in the course's table of contents, and another to enter a description. The second uses a text editor (Atto or TinyMCE, depending on your preference), so you can add text, video, images, etc. to it.
Once finished, click Create section to save and return.
To edit a previously created section, access the section you want to change and click on Edit section just below its description.
