Once we have created the rubric, the next step is to associate it with the activities where we will use it for evaluation. This action is performed in the settings of each of the elements that allow it:
Students, in turn, can see the rubric associated with how they will be evaluated.
Grading with the Rubric
With the rubric associated, we will wait for students to submit their work and then begin grading.
From the submission view, we can open the rubric in a side panel to start working.
If you want to read the descriptions added to the rubric for each criterion, click Show descriptions.
By clicking the V next to each criterion, the different evaluations for that criterion will expand. Simply click one to select it.
Want to add specific feedback for a criterion? Click on the dialogue icon.
The rubric score at the top will update with each click you make to sum the values of each criterion.
You might prefer to view the rubric in its entirety. To do this, the easiest way is to click the icon next to the title Grading Rubric. This icon will display the full rubric in a separate pop-up window, and you can move it to another screen connected to your device or display it full screen.
Everything you do on that screen will be collected in the main window.
Remember to click Save when finished.
