These three resources are probably the simplest of all that you can add to your courses. You can find all three in the Resources tab once you have clicked Add learning activity or resource.

File will allow you to upload a file from your PC or a repository. You can drag the file or click on the box to select it.

As you can see, each file will use a different icon depending on its type (Excel, PDF, etc.)

Folder is a type of resource that allows you to create a folder where you can add files.

Among other options, we can choose whether the folder contents are displayed on the same course page or on a different one, whether subfolders will be shown expanded, or if students will see a button to download the entire folder.

The URL resource allows us to add an external link to the course.
