A Book is a good option for long content. It is easier for students to work with a series of ordered pages (and indented if necessary), with links to the previous and next pages at the bottom than with independent documents.
Let's see how to work with books.
First, we add it as an activity to the page, with a name and a description, which is what we will see on the main page, and save.
To add pages to the book, we will access it by clicking on its name. Add a title and content for your first page and press Save changes at the bottom. At this point, we will see the content on the right and the table of contents (with a single element for now) on the left. Click Edit mode at the top of the page to continue adding chapters and subchapters to the table of contents.
The rest of the icons that appear below each node will allow us to edit, delete, hide, and move to another position, as well as add a new page just below the icons, of course.
Under Course Administration, in the gear icon at the top right corner, you will find options to Import a chapter by uploading a zip file with folders and HTML files inside, being able to select whether each folder or each file will become a chapter.
You will also see options to Print the entire book or Print the chapter that is currently visible.
