Wouldn't it be fantastic to be able to edit all the completion conditions at once? Imagine that after building all the elements of a course, you decide you want to change some of the conditions for, say, a group of them.
You're in luck. Access from the right menu wheel to Course Completion and then to the Bulk Activity Completion Editing tab, and you will see a list of all the activities and resources that exist in your course, ordered by section/week/topic and the tracking currently configured for them.
You can select several of these items and configure them at once.
I recommend configuring similar or identical elements with this method (for example, all activities across all topics follow the same rules, or all self-assessment quizzes).
Select the items to edit and click Edit.
You will then select the conditions that will mark the activity or resources as complete and click Save changes.
For example, you could select the end-of-topic quizzes and choose:
- When conditions are met
- Require a grade to be received
- Require the grade to be passing or all attempts have been completed
With this configuration, each quiz will be counted as completed when a grade has been received, which must be at least the passing grade specified in the particular quiz, or when all attempts available to pass that quiz have been exhausted.
