We have several ways to limit the visibility of items in a course:
- One is by using availability dates for those items that support them.
- Another is by using conditional rules, through the options in access restrictions.
- And another is by using their visibility, which we can change from the editing screen.
We will have two or three options to make an activity visible, depending on whether the administrator allows so-called invisible activities. These three options are:
- Show: The activity or resource will be shown in the section where it has been added.
- Hide: The activity or resource will not be shown. Students cannot access it, and we can continue working on it.
- Make available but do not show: The activity does not appear on the page but students can access it via a direct link, which gives us the possibility to create more interesting content.
