The LTI tools you can add are located in various places, depending on their function within the course.

Adding Tools Already Integrated by the Institution

These tools can be added from the Details and Actions > Books and Tools menu. Some can be added to the course body, while others simply live in this menu and can be launched by clicking on their icon. If a link to the tool can be added in the course body, you will see a + next to the icon.

Integrated tools can also be added from the + menu by selecting Content Store. In the list that appears, simply choose the tool you want to add by clicking the corresponding +.

It is also possible to add some LTI tools that allow it from the text editor.

Adding LTI Tools Not Integrated by the Institution

This situation is not very common, as generally LTI tools are already integrated by the administrator.

If you encounter this situation, where an LTI tool is not pre-integrated by the administrator, you can add it to your course by clicking the + in the course body and selecting Create. In the panel, choose Teaching Tools with LTI Connection and fill in the details.

Besides the configuration URL, you can add a description and select whether it is visible or hidden to students.
