To enroll users in a course from within the course itself, go to the list of participants from the Details and Actions menu.
You will see the list of users enrolled in the course. In the upper right corner, click the + and select Enroll People.
This feature is usually locked by administrators, as generally users and enrollments are managed from the administration section of the tool. In some cases, instructors or other roles may add users to courses.
Depending on how the system is configured, you may only be able to add users with certain roles (for example, only students but not instructors or teaching assistants).
In the panel that opens, start typing the username, first name, or last name of the user you want to add to locate them.
Click the + next to the correct user and select from the dropdown the role with which they will be enrolled in the course. Finish by clicking Save.
