Once inside the course, you can see what you have to do at a glance on the top bar:

Next to Gradebook we will see a number, which indicates the number of activities pending grading in the course. If instead of a number we see an exclamation mark, the system is indicating that there are grades pending publication.

By clicking on Gradebook, we can see all the items that need grading in the Overview tab. You will see on one side the items that need grading and on the other those that need publishing.

To access grading submissions for an activity, click Grade Now.

There are other places from which you can access grading and publishing submissions:

• From the activity stream, by clicking on the notification received for submissions pending grading.

• From the gradebook, in the Gradable Items tab.

  

• From the content itself, by accessing the activity you want to grade, in the Submissions tab. Once there, you can filter by "Needs Grading".
