In the gradebook, we can configure how participants in the course view their grades.
This configuration is done by first accessing the gradebook and selecting Settings > Course grade settings from the dropdown menu.
There are many options; we will discuss the ones we find most interesting, such as choosing where the totals appear (in the first or last position), the number of decimal places for scores, or whether to display the participant's position in the class ranking.
Grade item settings control how the grades for each item are displayed.
In Overview report you can select whether certain options remain visible/hidden in the overview report (accessible from the dropdown by clicking View > Overview report).
Under User you can choose which elements the student sees when accessing their grades.
Remember to click Save changes to save your selections.
Do you want to see what the student sees? Select View > User in the dropdown. This is the gradebook view that a student sees.
On the other hand, in the dropdown option Settings > Preferences: Grader report you can select some interesting features such as viewing user images, calculations made in calculated columns, or column averages. We recommend that you "play" with these options and choose the ones that interest you most.
