In summary, we will follow these steps:

• Start by adding the Custom Certificate activity within a course section.
• Add a name and take a look at the different configuration options.
• Check that it has been created correctly.

From here, any enrolled user will be able to download their personalized certificate in PDF format.

Configuring the Certificate

• You can enable sending the certificate to the student’s email and even send a copy to teachers, administration, etc.
• You can allow the verification link to be public so anyone can check the validity of the document.
• You can limit the awarding of the certificate to require that the student has remained logged into the platform for a minimum amount of time.

Also choose the actions you want to prevent users from performing with the certificate.
