Illuminate offers a free service called Data Q&A, which allows you to ask questions in natural language and receive answers in the form of metrics, tables, or charts based on the available data thanks to generative AI. For now, it is only available in English, but there are plans to extend it to other languages. 

To use this service, you need to enable Institutional Authentication. Once you have it, the Administrator can activate Data Q&A by following these steps:

• Access Illuminate with a developer role.
• Select Go to Settings > Global Settings.
• Enable the Generative AI Capabilities button.

Once the service is enabled, simply access Illuminate and click on the Data Q&A section. Its main features are:

• Answer questions by interacting with institutional data in natural language (Generative Business Intelligence).
• Display answers to those questions on screen using various visualization tools.
• Pin visualizations of frequently asked questions to custom dashboards for quick access.
• Access advanced filters, forecasting, and prescriptive questions.
• Refine the range of questions and answers based on institutional hierarchy and user role.
