The notifications that a user can enable and disable are always determined by the settings we configure for them in system administration.
We access notifications from Administrator Panel > The Ultra experience is here > Notification Settings
We can then configure the three notification delivery methods (Activity Stream, email, and mobile device) as on, off, on by default, or off by default for each notification. This setting will ultimately control what users can choose in their profile and in the Activity Stream.
It is important to know that some notifications are not available for all delivery methods. Some only exist for, for example, email and cannot be enabled for other methods.
To configure other notification options, such as the delivery time or the email address from which they are sent, go to Administrator Panel > Tools and Utilities > Notifications > General Notification Settings.
On this screen, you can configure the delivery of email notifications and the number of days that notifications are kept in the system (and therefore in the Activity Stream).
Notifications are always enabled, although we can configure notification cleanup.
Regarding email delivery, this screen allows us to configure the delivery of activity receipt notifications, the address from which system notification emails are generated, and the delivery time for the daily summary.
You can review what each notification is and who receives them in more detail in this article.
