You can see the role or roles that any user has in all the courses they are enrolled in by accessing that user's profile (clicking on their name).

Click on Preferences and locate Role assignments for this user. From there, for each course and each context, you will see the role(s) that this particular user has and you can add or remove them by clicking on the gear icon.
