As a general rule, necessary updates in SaaS do not involve any downtime; instead, they occur on Thursday night to Friday in production and Tuesday to Wednesday in test and staging, and we do not have the option to choose not to perform this update.
On the other hand, there are some occasional and much less common updates (for example, database updates) that do require downtime.
To improve workflows and expedite agreement of these times with the client, a feature has been added to the administration panel that allows the administrator to select the time window for these maintenance activities.
This feature is accessed from Administration Panel > System Settings > Maintenance schedule with downtime.
On that screen, we will see the downtime window that has been automatically assigned to us, and we can change it using the provided calendar.
