Open LMS | Content: Copying Resources from One Course to Another
To easily reuse resources created in a course, Open LMS allows us to copy these elements between courses using the import functionality.
You just need to access the receiving course, open the gear icon, and click on Course administration > Course reuse > Import, locate the course where the resource you want to copy is, and follow the instructions to select the items to import.
The items will be copied to the destination course within the same section where they existed in the original course. That is, if you copy something from the 3rd section (the third link in the table of contents), it will appear in the third section of the receiving course (the third link in the table of contents). If you only have two sections, you will not see the content you copied: you must add that third section to be able to see it. Once visible and located, you can move it wherever you want.
In the following video, we show you an example of this process, in this case copying an activity, but remember that you can import any element (documents, exams, glossary, etc.)
If you want to reuse an element within the same course, you can duplicate it and then move it to another section.
