The contracting of Open LMS services is offered in two possible modalities:
Unique Logins
This model is based on the total number of unique users who log in to the platform during the 12-month contract period. "Unique logins" count all users who have accessed the system at least once during the contract year. It is ideal for organizations with a constant and predictable number of users.
A unique user counts towards the license if they are an active user. Active user means an authorized user who has an account on the platform and who has logged in at least once during the contract period.
In this modality, Suspended Users (a user account that is deactivated so that the user can no longer access the system until the site administrator reactivates the account), if they accessed the platform at any time during the contract, will be counted as a unique login and will be a license consumed.
Monthly Flexible Seats
This model allows the institution to have a number of licenses ("seats") available per month so that active users can access Open LMS. The number of licenses purchased determines how many users can use the platform in a given month, providing predictability and control over access capacity. It is a suitable option for institutions with high user turnover, such as some corporations or continuing education.
In this modality, an Active User is counted when they are an authorized user who has an account on the platform and is enrolled in at least one course whose status on the platform is “visible” (whether it is being used or not).
Suspended Users (that is, user accounts that are deactivated so that the User cannot access the system) and Users whose enrollments in all courses are suspended by the Client’s administrator will not be included in the count of Active Users.
The count of active users will be done monthly in the case of purchasing the monthly flexible seats license, and annually in the case of the unique login license.
You can see the number of active users on your site from administration. If you prefer, you can write to us at soporte@elearningmedia.es and we will check it with you.
