The number of licenses purchased for OpenLMS is the maximum number of active users allowed in the system. To keep track of this number, you can view this information in your environment by selecting Site administration > Open LMS > My account > Active user report. Alternatively, open the menu from the user icon and go to My account > Service data > Active user reports
You will see a report on the number of active enrolled users.
An active user is someone who is enrolled in a course and can access at least one available course. It does not matter whether they access it or not; being active only indicates that they could access the environment and at least one course.
The second tab displays the Active user history, which will help us review the average number of users we have maintained over the past year.
This value is extremely important, as are the users registered on the site during specific periods of time. The report displays the current 12-month period by default, showing the highest and average number of active users during the selected period.
Remember that it is extremely important that the average number of monthly users does not exceed the number of users purchased under the license.
