It may happen that we delete courses from administration, and after some time, we see them created again. This has a simple explanation. If you create your courses using Conduit, you must also delete them via Conduit so they are not recreated, or the next time Conduit runs in the system due to a cron job, it will synchronize the list and create the courses again.
This is because we have two entities, Conduit and Open, each with its own database. One is the master and the other the slave. The master dictates, knows what should exist... and the slave obeys, deleting or creating what the master instructs.
In the case that Conduit is the master, if something exists in its database, it understands it should be created in Open and if it is not seen there, it sends the creation order.
To delete courses from Conduit, from the system's main page click on the blocks icon to open the panel and access Conduit by clicking Reports in the corresponding block.
Once inside the Conduit interface, click the Edit tab and select the Courses table from the dropdown.
Below you will see the list of courses registered via Conduit. You can edit or delete any course by clicking the corresponding icon:
On the next cron run, when Conduit runs, the course will be deleted or edited to reflect what we add here. You do not need to delete the course separately in Open; Conduit will take care of it.
