Course visibility can be edited from Admin Panel > Manage Courses, where courses or course categories can be set as closed (not visible) or open.

It is also possible to modify course visibility in bulk, using the course creation method from Site Administration > Courses > Upload Courses and adding an extra column to the file with the header visible and values 1 if the course is visible and 0 if it is hidden.

Using Conduit, we can also control course visibility by launching an integration for courses that modifies their visibility.

Important notes about course end dates vs. course visibility

• Adding end dates to a course does not close the course nor prevent its use. Although the course will disappear from the current courses list for the student, reaching the course end date does not prevent any enrolled user from accessing it.
• Conduit has a course management setting called Hide after course end date. When set to Yes, Conduit will automatically hide courses after their end date has passed.
