The Blackboard content editor is a tool that we will use in multiple situations, such as when creating content, documenting an assignment, or making a reflection in the forum.
The editor offers the most common features:
- Add text, either typed or copied
- Format text and create links
- Add images, documents, and multimedia
- Add platform-specific elements (LTI tools, files from the content collection, etc.)
- Add academic elements (code, equations, or formulas)
The features evolve and improve with the platform's monthly updates. Additionally, new ones appear, so we recommend that you always explore the top menu looking for new icons and functionalities.
This editor does not have native spell check; it uses the spell check of your device's web browser. Whenever the text is incorrect and the browser's spell checker detects it (underlined in red), right-clicking will offer suggestions with the correct words.
