The Blackboard interface is simple and minimalist, designed with the end user in mind and focusing on what truly matters: the teaching-learning process.
This interface adjusts by adapting the content and menus to the size of any device. This dynamic adjustment offers a common and unified view and experience across all devices, allowing for a consistent user experience without major changes.
The basic navigation provides us with links to the most important areas of the platform.
- The profile page will allow you to edit your preferences.
- The institution page is customizable and therefore each institution can use it for different purposes. One of these may be to offer information to its users, even by their roles.
- The activity stream shows us notifications of everything that has happened in your courses.
- Courses and Organizations will allow us to access all our courses/organizations, organized by terms.
- The Calendar will show us a general calendar of the environment, with all entries from all the courses we have access to.
- The Messages contains all the messages we have received from other users on the platform.
- The Grades allows us to view the grades obtained in courses where we are students, and the items to be graded as well as some grade statistics if we have a teacher profile.
- In Tools we will find tools integrated into the platform that we can use, such as Kaltura or Pronto.
- At the bottom you will find the link to Log Out and, if you have an account with administrative privileges, access to the Administrator panel.
