The Teaching reports provide data about courses and the tools used in them, assessments, grades, or outcomes.
Visit https://illuminate.blackboard.com/ and click Sign In to access with your user account. This article provides instructions to obtain user accounts, but keep in mind that since they are limited, your institution may not distribute accounts to everyone who requests them and may have another procedure for you to view the data.
Now, you can choose either to click Go to Reports > Explore Teaching, or click the hamburger icon in the upper left corner to open the menu and select Teaching. This will show the titles of the 4 types of reports:
- Pedagogical Practices
- Assessment and Grading
- Course Summary
- AI Design Assistant Adoption
By clicking on each of them, their content will be displayed, and using the left side menu you can navigate to the other reports. This article talks about the structure of the reports if you are interested in learning more.
It is important to note that these Teaching reports focus on faculty. For example, in Assessment and Grading you do not see student grades (those are in Learning > Student Performance and Grades), but data about how faculty are conducting assessment and grading of their students.
Within the first two reports, and in each of their tabs, the tables related to each course stand out for their interest:
