The authorization code allows a user who possesses it to see certain elements of the course that are locked with a conditional. This code is not something we have to give to the student nor that the student has to enter in any box; rather, it works automatically associated with a PLD rule (personalized learning designer).

The operation is as follows:

Once the PLD rule is established, whose action is to release an authorization code, we access the editing of the activity that should be viewed once the code is obtained.

We will then configure the restriction to be of the type Authorization Code. Here you can see how to configure restrictions in general.

Add the authorization code in the box and save.
